Jeep Progress - Or not so much.

So, here's a bit about my latest all consuming toy. Here's how she looked when we picked here up:

A little bit of time (okay, a lot) and a little bit of money (okay, more than I expected), and here she sits now.

Here's what I've been playing with and learning about lately:

As well as the space I have to work in, for which in this cold February, I am eternally grateful.

I'll keep y'all posted as progress is made. Right now, it is unfortunately up on jack stands without a rear axle. Soon. Hopefully before we get lots of snow, because I want to play in it....

Projecting

This Christmas, Josh got me a sewing machine, and I've been busy ever since! I made the scrubs all on my own (my stitch ripper got quite a workout :). I wore them to work, and washed them and they haven't fallen apart, so I think I did an okay job!

The quilt has come along quite nicely, after many hours
spent with mom (thanks!). I was a little overwhelmed going to the
quilt store on my own- too many choices! Hopefully I won't have to go
again, I think I'm about finished... This is my first one, and I pretty proud of it (maybe I shouldn't say that until I'm completely finished!)

We also had the opportunity to go to Kutztown this past weekend to watch Eric in his track meet. He did very well at the hurdles and the 400m race. We were excited to hang out with him and Grace and Tim! After the meet, we all went to 'Snuzzles' in Kutztown for dinner. I'm pretty sure that we ate the hugest stromboli that can be made!

And stay tuned for updates on the Jeep Comanche that we got before Christmas... it's coming along...
