finally the pics!

ok, as promised, here are some pics from the last few weeks...

Here's a picture of Josh and his group that went to the high peaks during staff training.

Here are the nurses that are up there this summer. Not all at once, but we were able to snatch a picture on a weekend that we were all here.

This is one of the instructional areas -survival. (the instructor is teaching how to make a survival shelter). The boys love to come to this area.

Here is Josh taking a picture from Josh's staff hike in the high peaks in the ADKs.

Josh is on his way to his master's in fishing with this pike. We caught two pike in 3 casts, then nothing else for two hours. it was fun canoeing on the lake and talking, well worth the time.
Thank you for understanding how busy we are, we wish we were able to talk to everyone more often. Camp life is keeping us busy! We are so blessed to be able to be a part of this community for the summer. We are half way through 2nd session and have 2 more sessions to go (which means 5 more weeks). We appreciate your prayers!

Hey Josh and Lauren,

Looks and sounds like you both are having a great time up there...what a beautiful place to be. Recently at church and in our small group we've been talking a lot about seeing so much of God in creation. We going through the Psalms in church and two weeks ago was Psalm 8 which is short but all about the glory of our Lord and how He formed the world and thought about us as humans. It was just a neat sermon and then somehow we had talked about it more in small group the week before and after that sermon. We got to sit out back on the deck and talk about things which was awesome with the fireflies and crickets. I bet it is just magnified up there since there isn't a busy town nearby to distract you. Well i hope you aren't too busy to enjoy the Lord's creation made just for us and not forgetting to let your heart worship through that!! We love you both and we miss you. It's sure different having you and the coates gone, but you aren't forgotten.. glad to hear things are going well..
In Christ,
the Welshs :)
